Destination Wedding Photography

I serve clients both home and abroad, and would love to photograph your destination wedding or adventure engagement session. Whether it’s a Parisian elopement or a tropical Costa Rican paradise wedding, honor me by choosing me to photograph your destination dream.
Pricing
Destination wedding pricing is simply wedding coverage pricing + travel costs. I book all travel arrangements for me and my team, and send you copies of the receipts for reimbursement. Travel costs may include:
Travel Information
How many people will be traveling?
Since every wedding includes me and my assistant, you will need to fly out two people. Three people if you choose a second photographer. When I book the flight, I will include baggage fees to cover our items not able to come on board in a carry on. I always fly with my camera gear in my carry on, simply to ensure my gear doesn’t end up as lost luggage and I have a camera and lenses for your wedding.
When will you fly out?
I prefer to book a flight departing the day before your event, simply because this would give us enough time to explore your venue, check into the hotel, and prep our gear for your wedding day. We will depart the day after your wedding so we will be there for your entire wedding.
Will we need to book the flights?
I book all our travel accommodations, and will send you the receipts for reimbursement.
How many nights do you stay in the hotel?
We stay for two nights for most weddings. We depart the day after the last event of your coverage. Such as if you want a day after session, then we would require another night’s stay and depart the next day.

Why hire a destination photographer?
Many destination venues offer a package that includes photography for their couples. I have found that more often than not photographers hired by venues aren’t at a professional level, and leave couples a bit deflated over the photographs because they don’t do the location and scenery justice. Here are a few reasons to hire me over a venue photographer:
Things to consider
Be sure your venue allows outside vendors. Many do not. Some venues who allow vendors may require a vendor fee if bringing your own photographer. Sometimes venues will waive this fee if the photographer(s) stay for a certain number of nights at the venue. Speak with your wedding planner/coordinator about policies regarding vendors.
