How to book me for your wedding

Make sure you love my wedding photography! If you do, then…
Include your names, wedding date, venue, and photography budget if you have one. This way I can tell you if I’m available, know how far away your venue is, and what I can do within your budget. If I’m available, I will send you information and ask if you’d like to schedule a consultation to go over more details.
While not required to book, this consultation is incredibly helpful and answers tons of questions. Usually done over the phone, and during this call we will go over a couple different timeline options so you can get a feel for the flow of the day. I will also answer any questions you have.
Instead of a phone call we could meet for lunch or over coffee. I love this option, because I get to show you wedding albums, too! Since I am based in Lexington, KY this would need to be local to me. If you live further out, no worries! We can schedule a Skype call instead.
Sign the contract
If you’re ready to move forward, I will send you the wedding photography contract. Once you review and sign the contract, I will send you an invoice.
In order to book your date a signed contract and retainer is required. My retainer fee is $1000 and goes towards your total balance. Once you pay the retainer, you’re booked!

Actually, it’s even easier because you can do all of this online! You’re busy, and I want to make this as seamless as possible.
What happens after you book
Once you book me, I am here for any questions you have. I’ve been to dozens of weddings and am happy to lend an ear or give any advice if needed. If you need help deciding on a first look, lighting for the ceremony and reception, timelines, color selection, advice about wedding dresses, etc., I am here to answer your questions. I am not a wedding planner, but I’ve been to enough weddings to have good insight, and am happy to share it if needed.
You may call me anytime during my business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm. If there is an emergency, simply text me if it’s after business hours.
You will also have your own personal client portal which will give you access to important documents, tell you your remaining balance, and contain event details.
In the months leading up to your wedding, I’ll email you questionnaires about vendors, family formals, and other details. I will also schedule a phone call or meeting to discuss the timeline when we are about one month out from the day.
After the wedding
I begin editing your wedding and your photos will be delievered three weeks after your wedding date. A rush delivery is available for $400, and if this option is chosen, photos will be delivered in 10 days.
Your photos will be delivered via email with a link to a password protected online gallery. You are able to order fine art prints directly from this gallery as well!
If you’ve purchased a wedding album, or even if you’re still on the fence, I will design an album layout for you and send it to you shortly after I send your wedding gallery link. Couples who book with me have access to exclusive pricing for sessions and products. Any sessions or products you purchase within three months of your wedding will have a 20% discount.
